Why we’re saying “No” to cheap imports
Now lets get one thing straight- not everything that comes from China is inferior. Unfortunately though, we are seeing more and more cheaply made, Chinese products, hitting our shores. When it comes to our children, we all want what’s best for them but in this ever changing economy and with prices constantly increasing, we do find ourselves counting our dollars and trying to save where we can. Unfortunately this comes at a cost to quality.
Have you noticed similar, if not the same, products on multiple sites? This is often a good indication of a generic, mass produced product. These products are cheaply made in Chinese factories to loosely meet Australian standards, so that they can be resold here. Their fabrics are thin and wear quickly and their stitching is messy and weak.
Now again I will say that not all Chinese products are inferior, but when we’re talking about a product for our babies and children, we really feel that quality is of uttermost importance. With this in mind we wanted to provide Australia with an outstanding product that blows all others out of the water.
So how are our bean bags different? Well, we have taken the time to sit down with our manufacturer and have designed our product to be the best. We’ve picked attractive, durable and easy to maintain fabrics. The safety zippers on our bean bags have been specially made to suit our products and all workmanship is performed by skilled workers who only make bean bags. We’ve also gone to extra lengths to create a superior product by including in our design, features such as a fully removable inner liner, protected zips to help prevent scratches on your floors and pulling of carpets and fully waterproof bases to ensure no spills reach the beans. We’ve also personally inspected every single safety zipper to ensure it functions correctly, so that you can be 100% sure that you are using the safest product for your babies and children.
Here at Sleepy Beans we believe that quality is key and unfortunately a lot of Chinese imports just don’t support this. So please, don’t put your babies at risk for the sake of a fancy design or to save a few dollars. In the long run, it’s just not worth it.
